M. David Fetyko
David has been a serious student of Tai Chi Chuan for over twenty years and has been teaching it for over ten years. He teaches the Yang and Chen styles. He has won gold medals in national competitions at the Western Regional Championships held annually at Berkley University in California and in other national and international competitions. His wife, Angel Chen Fetyko, was born and grew up in Guangzhou China and usually assists David in his classes. David, Angel and their son Kevin moved to Vancouver Washington in May of 2009.
Glennda Fields
Glennda is a local Northwest artist living in Corbett, Oregon. Her education and personal color philosophies mixed with her unique perception of external landscapes give depth and vibrancy to her color usage. She believes “Each painting has a story to tell. It is magic to take a blank piece of paper or canvas and create beautiful art.” Glennda has art currently showing in Oregon and Washington. She has received various art awards.
Sherry Fleming
Sherry is a dedicated and caring professional. She received her M.A. in Languages from Ohio State and M.B.A. from City University in Washington State. Sherry is a Certified Fitness Instructor through the Seattle Sports Medicine training and certification program. Sherry received her Pilates teaching certification through NETA: National Exercise Trainers Association.
Andrew Foeller
Andrew Foeller: An instructor in Clark’s Adult Basic Ed program, Andrew earned a Master of Education from PSU. His B.A. was in English and Philosophy from Western Michigan University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with the Awards: Robert Friedman Philosophy Prize for outstanding senior philosophy student. Andrew has published several poems and articles and was Editorial Assistant for the literary journal, Third Coast, 1997-1998. He helped create and design a glass mosaic at the 11th Annual Glass Guild show at the Oregon Convention Center.
Holly Forrest
Holly received her BA in Political Science from Loyola University of Chicago and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Oregon State University. In comparing the subjects of the two fields, she observed that many second graders are more level-headed than a majority of political leaders. She has worked in various capacities on numerous electoral campaigns throughout the country, from Chicago to upstate New York to Washington and Oregon. Holly has also developed many conservation campaigns and lobbied on behalf of environmental organizations like the Sierra Club. She spent a year in Ireland doing a comparative study of election and governance models, land preservation strategies, and pub music. Holly is currently writing a novel set in Vancouver which features kindred spirits O.O. Howard and John Muir.
Thomas Fudge
Thomas Fudge is an historian of Christianity with particular interests in the medieval and reformation periods, specializing in Jan Hus and Hussite history. He holds a PhD in medieval history from Cambridge and a PhD in theology from Otago University. He is the author of The Magnificent Ride: The First Reformation in Hussite Bohemia (1998), Daniel Warner and the Paradox of Religious Democracy in Nineteenth-Century America (1998), The Crusade Against Heretics in Bohemia, 1418–1437 (2002), Christianity without the Cross: A History of Salvation in Oneness Pentecostalism (2003) and Jan Hus: Religious Reform and Social Revolution in Bohemia (2010). He has held academic appointments in the United States and New Zealand and now works as an independent scholar. His current research is on medieval heresy in the later Middle Ages, and the trial of Jan Hus.
Bill Fuller
Bill Fuller formerly owned Tualatin Vineyards and was responsible for grape growing, wine making, sales and marketing, with production of 16,000 cases annually. Past president of the Oregon Winegrower’s Association, most recently Director of Enological Services at McMenamin’s Edgefield winery, Bill has an extensive, lifelong career in the wine business, receiving his Master’s degree in Enology from the University of California at Davis.
Linda Gentry
Linda Gentry combines her love of teaching and her computer expertise with the ability to explain technical subjects in understandable language. She offers instruction for all Microsoft Office products, and uses them daily to produce and maintain web sites and database projects for her clients. Linda enhances the classroom experience with added tips and tricks she has learned in her 20+ years working with computers and software. She has a B.A. in Humanities (Electronic Media and Culture) from Washington State University.
David Gray
David is a charismatic instructor, noted for his vast wine knowledge and easy going, accessible style. He has run Salut Wine Co - an online retailer and outlet for wine, accessories and wine clubs in Portlandfor more than a decade. Established in 2002, Salut is growing within new media to utilize innovative methods to help access the best wines. David has traveled to Europe numerous times to satiate a passion for wineries, winemakers and wines they create.
Debbie Guyol
Debbie is a writer and lawyer in Portland. She has a B.A. degree from Reed College and a J.D. from the University of Southern California.Her own writing includes essays, memoirs and screenplays, as well as books and articles on legal subjects.
