A graduate of the University of Colorado, is a consultant providing training and technical assistance regarding the impact of childhood trauma on the developing brain and the relationship to the development of chronic disease on later life. His consultation occurs across a variety of settings in colleges, schools, children services, public health, mental health, adult corrections and adult chemical dependency services. He has worked for United Behavioral Health, Blue Cross of Oregon and the Area Agency on Aging coordination services for adults and writing best practice guidelines.  He has extensive experience working as a psychiatric nurse in a variety of settings with adults.
